Piknik Austrian Cheese

Anyone who frequents the more “international” grocery stores like Jon’s or Super King in LA will know that this cheese is the way. Feta less abrasive cousin for those who hate the taste of sheep’s cheese (I personally love sheep’s cheese but we have to cater to other tastes).

This cheese is Feta’s less salty, creamier cousin. It comes in 3” rounds stacked in brine in a very cute and easy to store tin. Cut off a quarter, smash it with a fork and top with EVOO and zaatar. Enjoy with sliced Persian cucumbers and heirloom tomatoes sprinkled with chunky salt. A perfect crunchy, salty, creamy midday snack. LA - they have it at Super King!!
